I went to my second interview with this company on Aug 31st. They said in about a week or so they would get back to the temp agency that sent me there. Well I've called everyday to that temp agency and they keep telling me, they have not heard any word yet. This company just moved here from California and they are sill in the transition...

Be patient and don't give up. If is it meant for you, God will provide. If not, he will give you something bigger and better. You sound just like me some weeks ago. I'm in the process of looking for a new job now. I've had 8 interviews. 4 of them I canceled because of pay and location the other 4 I didn't get. I have another one coming up soon. I used to let this discouraged me, but not anymore. You have to have faith and wait. Trust me. Just don't give up and hey if you don't get this one, keep on keeping on looking and you will have your moment of glory.

My first thought is for your next interview. Always send a creative thank you note to the hiring manager; make it stand out and include some research about the company (show them that you are smart and invested). This gives you an entree to give the hiring manager a call..."I just wanted to make sure you got my note...I really love what you guys are doing and I think my skills as a ______ would really be an asset for the ________ position."
When working with a staffing or search firm, they like to control the communication. They make money off of placing you in a job so it is in their best interest to keep the fire burning. Some firms really are lethargic about follow up. I would only call the hiring manager if you feel that the electricity of chemistry in your interview. Being too eager may make you seem desperate and you don't want to come off too eager.

PS Whether you get the job or not, keep in contact with the company. When their is an opening, you will be the first person they call. NETWORKING, BABY!

Call the lead interviewer or decision maker at the company you'd work for. Ask them if they have any questions regarding your experience or qualifications. Tell them you enjoyed meeting the people that you met and that you're excited by the opportunity. Ask if they've made a decision and if the answer is no then ask when they expect to make a decision. Then leave it alone. Be cheerful but not a stalker.
Good luck.

It sounds like you can't do much. The temp agency will let you know if they're interested. In the meantime keep looking until you get a offer letter.

Call the temp aganecy to ask about the job. Many times you have to check in once a week with temp agencies to keep your employment active..call them.

Keep applying to other jobs. You are likely second or third on their list, and they have already offered the job to someone else who has yet to accept. If the other person(s) don't accept the job, they may offer it to you, but in the mean time keep applying because in all likelihood the job will go to someone else.

Depending upon your circumstances and financial situation, either wait it out or look for another job. Remember, the job belongs to the company, not you. You might wait it out and the company hire somebody else!

Well it seems like your doing all one can do, just keep your fingers crossed, once the company gets more settled in, try again, maybe your application got misplaced. Good luck I hope you get that call back.
