My free AOL trial expired. Then it got automatically extended for four days. Now, it told me it is expired. Yet, here I am online. I signed right on.
No, it isn't being billed to me as far as I know.

Do what I did, and keep cancelling your account after the free trial and opening a new one! I did this with a company called People PC (no one else seems to know of them). I didn't set out to do this on purpose, I swear. I had an old computer that I needed service for JUST long enough to save my files off of before I got rid of it. I kept putting this task off, and putting it off..this went on for four months.

I don't know anyone who has ever been cut off from AOL, they just keep stringing you along with "extensions". They are probably expecting you to call so that they can get you set up for another month or two. Good luck on cancelling with them, if that is what you wish to do.

you better check to make sure they aren't charging your for it even though it is expired.

you have to call them on the phone to delete your account or it won't work. even then be prepared to spend atleast 25 minutes begging them to finally give up and delete your account.

the reason it's so difficult to get then to give up is

1) they don't want to lose your business.
2) A lot of people before you would close it and open it and close it and open it and this causes them lots of trouble and now they want to make certain that when you say you want it gone you mean exactly that.

It may be a matter of time before their system updates with the expired accounts - and you're not allowed on.

Or.. it's just plain luck! :)

Try NEtzero if you are using dialup. Much cheaper and was good!

I would bet my next breath that if you are using it, they will bill you. Good luck on that one!

Actually you are NOT online.
This is all in your imagination.
This does not exist in reality.
You do not exist in reality.
You only exist in someone else's imagination,.
