and every single person was English...the people walking around the streets of the tourist towns, the shop keepers, the people working in cafes...everyone! Out of every accent we heard 1 in every 150 were Welsh...why is that? We left with my Dutch wife having only met English people and it was supposed to be Wales

Some Welsh people don't have a pronounced accent, especially in the north.

Perhaps they were Welsh but had lost their accent? Education does that to us all. Oh say, you really must verify your email address with Yahoo or you won't be getting any emails. If your worried about invasion of privacy which we all are, YA does not releas our email addresses to anybody, so just keep using Yahoo mail. It usually takes me a few conversations before I will give mine out. I don't happen to like writting in this box environment. I also find a lot of people won't switch even after I do. That I have been on the internet since 1992 may be why I like a different environment, I know they exist! Anyway, verify, they are trustworthy.
