Hand wash in luke-warm water using a detergent for delicates.
Rinse in slightly colder water.
Hang to dry or lay flat.
In case you are lucky and have a front load washer that offers a program for delicates follow instructions for that washer.
Hang to dry or lay flat.
If you are lazy and can afford it, bring them to the dry cleaners.

Handwash in warm Woolite water and hang on plastic hangers to drip dry. You are speaking of expensive underwear and washable outerwear?
It won't look new forever: Lets face it, thing get stretched and worn and even color fades after countless wearings and washings. If that doesn't happen, it goes out of style. Careful washing, storing and wearing the items increase the garments' useful life though.

Hand-washing in Woolite is your best bet. Or maybe the gentle cycle of your washing machine.
Good luck!

Hand wash in cold water. Don't wring them out. Don't put them in a dryer, but hang them up to dry.
