I left a waiter $50 one night, my friend was really upset and he made her laugh so hard she was crying for joy instead of sadness....

percentage wise? or truthfully funds ? nicely, this morning the at my mom's Day lunch - the waitress spilled an entire glass of iced tea on myself and my daughter - Our breakfast develop into loose as a results of mistake yet we left her a $7.00 tip - in basic terms hoping she might want to cool down and function a significantly better day. So in the experience that your tip is $7.00 and your bill is 0 it fairly is really sturdy percentage wise. yet save in concepts i'm not a wealthy individual - the biggest dollar length tip I ever gave develop into fifty bucks on a 2 hundred dinner tab. -ok-

On the 20% scale, my boss gave me a dinner for two and he said he would treat for 150$ I took him up on it, had a great time and the tip was, 60$, that was big for me. On the percent scale, I once bought a 2 buck cup a joe at a late night joint, the waitress and I talked for quite a while and in gratitude, I left her a 10. Maybe excessive but it was a great talk.

I was in a group of about 10 people and I alone left 10 dollars, that's not including what he got from everyone else at the table. The waiter was cute and he sang happy birthday to my friend for us. We were in high school and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

me and a gorup of guys always went to clarks restaurant on saturday morning at 5am after staying up all night i think we averaged around 20.oo tip each time but im sure we left a nice 35 or even a 50 every once in a while. but i would personally get a 6.99 breakfast and drop a 20. thats the most ive ever left i think as a personal tip but when coffee is poured and your order is cooking and when you walk in you get a hi guys youe table is ready you cant beat that.

At a restaurant, we had the best waiter. He greeted us, explained the menu, was able to "custom" make our order, brought our food fast (and it was hot), checked on us enough but not too much, let us hang out even though we were finished. He was just a really good waiter. Our meal came up to about $60 w/ tax and we have him a $15 tip.
Now when we go back to that restaurant, we will wait until we are able to be seated in his section.

I remember leaving a 200% tip once for a server who had a large party leave without tipping and with being loud and obnoxious for most of the time we were in the restaurant. People shouldn't have to deal with that while trying to make a living.

That guy that tips people 19% really ought to go up tot 20%. I tipped my girlfriend 50 bucks when she was working at Sonic. It was her birthday, and she had to work. I got here a real present also, but that was just fun. It think I only ordered cheese-tots, and a drink so I tipped like 500%.
I cannot believe all those people just giving their money away to strangers; waiters deserve to be tipped, but not 100%. That is just crazy (my incident was different).

I don't remember the exact amount, but a few years ago I went out to dinner with a group of my family and our service & food was outstanding so we ended up leaving her like $100 I think. That was close to the amount of the bill, too. I like to think that if I was ever really rich, I would give big fat tips to people all the time.

Gave a waitress seven dollars by accident. The meal was 10 dollars at that. I meant to leave two dollars but apparently I had taken a five out of my wallet with the two singles and left it. I then went somewhere and tried to buy something and realized I was missing money and asked where my five was. My brother told me he saw me leave it with the tip and just assumed I had meant to.

I gave my hairdresser a £50 tip after she put my hair extensions in! she spent about 6 hours on my hair, and gave me all the best service, even offering me a glass of champagne which was a nice touch. Just felt she deserved a big tip.
