Kevin Harvick is stinking up the show in the Busch Series this year, no doubt about it. But.....he is doing it with his own race team, on his own dime and he is running every race for a championship. The villians of the Busch Series are the guys (and I like a lof these drivers) like Stewart, Martin, Kennseth, Burton, Busch, Biffle...and on and on that show up for the big $$$ events only and bump the Busch regulars (if there is such a thing anymore) off the bottom of the grid and onto the trailer. These Buschwhackers, who are not running for the Championship use the races as pocket money or to prepare for the Nextel race on the same track and do nothing to help any of the Busch regulars. Most are racing for big time teams (Hendrick, Roush, Childress, etc...) not out of their own garages or pockets and that to me makes a big difference.

If Harvick and all the other "Bushwhackers" didn't run, attendance for most Busch Series events would be down. He is my favorite driver, so it might seem biased what I am going to say, but look at the logic. At least Harvick is doing it honestly this year, running both series full time. He isn't a one- or two- or few race deal who is just running for a win and more prize money. He is making an honest attempt at the Championship in both series. It's when people only race for a couple races when they race full time in the Cup series that needs to be curbed.
Also, Harvick only ran 2 full seasons in the Busch Series. He didn't develop as much as a driver there as many do.

no. Kyle Bush is the current villain.
when the Nextel Cup regulars run in the Busch race's, it gives the Busch driver's a chance to compete with them within the same set of rules, an invaluable learning tool. also, with the Cup driver's competing in Busch, the purse's have risen considerably.

I always wondered why these guys are allowed to run both Bush and Nextel Cup simultaneously. Seems once they step up to the Nextel Cup they should leave their Busch spots to a another new comer and give them a chance.

Hmmm, I wouldn't say he's a villian. He has done very well this year, obviously, and he does deserve to win. You are right, he has ruined the chances of any other driver trying to get first position...but that is just the way it is. Kevin had a great season in NNS and Nextel, and is proving to be very good.

i think it's great what he's doing. Winning two titles in one year is something no other driver has done. He also attracts more fans to the busch series, being a big name nascar star. If the busch regulars can't beat him, then they need to step it up.
Harvick isn't going to run fulltime next year though, along with many other cup drivers

Nope not a villian of NASCAR that would be the Busch brothers hate them both. He is not ruining the careers of the BUSCH regulars he basically is helping them improve their driving skills if they can beat him they can make it to the big show.

Why would you ask that question when you have Tony Stewart and Dale Jr. out there bullying everybody? They are the Villians of NASCAR. And I am not a Happy Harvick Fan. I doin't think drivers should be allowed to compete for both titles, in fact I don't think they should be able to run regularly in both series. But I don't see him as a villan.
