My brother had laser eye surgery. One of his side effects is a type of glare. Light distorts, so that night driving, especially, is difficult. But, he wears corrective lenses to help him with that problem. Before the surgery he had vision that required plasic lenses a half inch thick. Now, he just wears lenses that are comparible to reading glasses.
