Provided you have an electric fan for your Corolla, the temperature switch that activates the fan with increasing temp. is bad and not shutting off the fan. If you have a clutch type fan, the clutch is bad and needs to be replaced. Chances are you have the electric fan.

1. your car is overheated or;
2. Faulty water temperature sensor;
3. Air conditioning/defrost system is switched on.
