Social media is the lowest-costing way, but be careful not to get banned. The best way to do this is to supply a demand -- an answer to a question. Display your expertise all over forums, blogs, Q & A, etc. and Google will like you. Be sure to drop bread crumbs for Google to follow -- link back to your website in your post.
