Yahoo is the best one, you will say that I am saying yahoo because I am at yahoo thats not the case I am using a Nokia 6600 and I check my mails through it. Yahoo is the best one for this and yaho also faciliates you such services and you can also integrate your yahoo messenger with your mobile device. And you can get alerts whenevr anyone of your contacts comes online or you get a new email etc
