No. My friend works a part time job at a call centre and goes to school. He was going to join the national guard but he didn't have enough time. It depends if you have to go to school or not.

My brother has been in the national guard for 8 years now and he works for the post office 55 hours a week. The national guard isn't demanding on a daily basis only if you get called up. He has been doing it for years and still has time for his son and wife!

Not without getting bone tired. Your hours will probably not match up with a NG schedule. You may also have to quit your job if you get called up.

I should think so. You'll just need to take a couple of weeks of your vacation towards the duty. And you'll have very little free time.

yes, as long as their job lets them go to basic training, then meetings one weekend a month, and the two weeks every year.
