No!!! I've read a few of your other questions and it sounds like you need to be more assertive. Your wife is probably waiting for you just to take her on the kitchen counter.

Wow, cowboy! I think that you need to lay off the guilt trip to get sex. That is definately not the way to go about it. The couch idea needs to fly out the window as well, unless you would like your wife to feel like a prostitute. This is obviously something that you both need to talk about. There has to be a reason why she doesn't want to put out. It may be that she has added a few pounds, it may be that she is afraid to be pregnant, or something else having to do with something that she is not happy with in herself or in you. You need to find out what it is and make it go away before she is going to do anything with you. Sometimes just knowing that your husband is concerned works.

Guilt is not a good way but may be the only way. Try to talk to her and find out what would help her to "get in the mood". Women are more emotional creatures than men and if we are not emotionally stable, then we can not be sexually arroused in most cases. If there are unsolved problems or unresolved issues, then that would be the first place to start. Don't give up.

Communication. Guilt is only going to cause more problems down the road. And you will be disrespecting her and degrading her. What enjoyment can you get from intimacy if it's motived by guilt? Understanding that you've tried a lot of different things, why not just ask her if there's something upsetting her or maybe she needs to go to a doctor about her sex drive. Maybe she's cheating on you. Who knows. Just be honest with her. Or go to counseling.

If she is tired nothing will help... Give her some time away... Take her to a nice place for the weekend... Make sure she's not working or cleaning while there....
Now if this still doesn't work she may just not be in the mood... she may be depressed or have a lot on her mind... try talking to her... there may be some underlined issues...

No Guilt is not a good way because guilt only makes other problems..... For me romance is not flower, gifts or dates it is Honey i know you are tired can i help you in some way. and when you give her these back rubs are the immediately followed by your pursuit of sex..... We have to know you are doing these things because you really love us not because you are wanting sex.......

Why not arrange for a weekend away? I would have loved it if my husband arranged for a romantic weekend getaway away from the house and the kiddie.

Maybe she feels like you are just being nice so that you get to have sex. So she might resent or get angry when you act romantic. Try talking to her and listen to what she says.
