Uniforms are a waste of resources. Money and materials must be provided to make the uniforms, and then everybody has to buy them.

Additionally, not everybody can afford to buy a special uniform. Some would call it class-discrimination.

You no longer are allowed to express yourself , by the way of dress.
Your individuality has totaly been stripped form you. Unless you are at a Private School , Uniforms should not be required.

I spent three years i public school adn remember the hard time my parents had finding the "latest styles" for me to wear. and then I spent five years in a private school, and they didn't have to worry about it. oh, I was also home schooled for five years.
Now my daughter is in a school with uniforms and we can pass them down to younger ones that can wear them, and if the girls need more skirts, we make them.
the kids wear red polo shirts and the girls can wear navy blue jumpers or skirts, which we make ourselves. and the boys wear red polo shirts and black jeans.
We have some kids this year from a public school in our school and the parents said they were spending twice as much on school clothes before.

uniforms are good for schools, this way kids do not need to worry about wearing designer clothes, or having the most expensive sneakers. kids should not have to woryy about those types of things

It destroys individuality.
It equalizes everyone.
Some people will not conform.
