WAY TO GO ANGIE ! THIS CERTAINLY IS REFRESHING !
THANKS FOR THE "NEW" CHALLENGE.

Now......To your questions:

1. I really don't want to see one eliminated...one less race to watch. Unless...they replace with another one somewhere else.

2. This clone car is ugly to me...not that looks matter....
But like Smokes Girl said, it will even out the field and bring
back racing.

3. In my opinion, drivers should get extra points for winning.
In addition...extra...extra...extra points deducted for penalties
along with stiffer fines and sitting out a race for the severe case

4. I'm a CHEVY fan. Chevy car and driver....in my opinion
they are the best. (with the exception of the gentleman of racing
Mr. Mark Martin. ..wish he drove a Chevy) I think Chevy will dominate (as usual). Not Toyota.

5. Good For Denny ! And they say "Rookies Can't Cut It". HA.

6. In my back yard............(wouldn't that be kool?)
Seriously Wilmington, NC (that's closer to me than Charlotte)
It's not very likely ...but I can dream.

Q:How do you feel about eliminating the second California race?

A;No. I like California personally and would hate it being gone because that's one less race I get to watch!

Q:What are your thoughts on the "Car of Tomorrow" and what it might bring to the track?

A: Yuck! Aren't those cars ugly? I really am not a fan in the least, as far as looks go. However, that's not terribly important, and I am a fan of any new car that helps keep drivers safe and performs well.

Q:How do you think the "Chase" should be tweaked or completely changed to be more interesting or exciting?

A:I think there should be a top 15 or even top 20 for the chase. There's 43 guys, and only 10 are eligible for the championship...which in some ways isn't fair to me. Also, the point systems are wacked! The officials bash certain guys for doing something "illegal" and then don't do anything when another driver breaks the same rule! how annoying!!!!!! As far as interest goes, I'd love to have the guys do something more with the fans...and they should be allowed to see their driver in victory lane! that would be cool.

Q: Will Toyota be a team to dominate next season?

A: Maybe. I'm not sure how they will do, but they have a 50/50 chance. I can't wait to find out!

Q:What do you think about Denny Hamlin kicking butt and making the chase??

A: ROCK ON, DUDE!!!!!!!!!!! I love Denny Hamlin!! I'm so happy he's doing so well, and he should be proud of himself for doing so great!!! He is the rookie to beat, I'd say, for nextel and busch drivers (even Harvick! lol)

Q:Where would you like to see a new track built???

A: Connecticut! That's where I live, and I'd love to make my state more "race friendly" by having a track built.

1. Yes, three races in Cali is a bit much, esp since the same two are pretty boring. Let's bring in something new!!!

2. C.O.T well, it's really ugly, and I can't get used to the look, but hopefully it comes with all the promises NASCAR has made aobut it (i/e evening up the field and brining racing back)

3. I still can't get used to the chase, and I think people are truly starting to see it's faults..I don't have the magic answer to make it better ( I suppose that's why I'm sitting at a desk at work doing this instead of making the big money Mike does, LOL!!) but I think they'll figure something out.

4. I think Toyota will go kerplunk next season. Might have a few good highlights, but past that.. I think it's going to take osme time to build up

5. Yeaaay for Denny. I like him, and I'm glad he proved to everyone he could do it. I heard a lot of " a rookie doesn't have the right to be in thre." Heck, if he can drive his way in there than yeah he sure does!! Yeaay for Denny.. JGR hope for this year!!

6. I would love to see a track in MO..

Well eliminating a California race, makes room for new tracks

I don't know much about the car of tommorow

I really think more points should be awarded for winning the race and for winnning the most races.

No, I think Chevy will Dominate Next Season- more so the Hendricks boys.

I think it is awesome to see Rookies in the Chase.

They are talking about one near Boise, and I think there is a track being built in Tooelle, UT near Salt Lake, both are hoping to attract NASCAR. I would like to see one in either or both of those places because they are closer to where I live and it would not be as expensive to go to the races.

I am into NASCAR alot so hope you like what I have to say.
1. I think it would be super cool to have another race at Sonoma other then that I don't think they should have one and like the schedule as it is. Sonoma is a cool track because my driver has won their 5 times (Jeff Gordon).
2. The "Car of Tomorrow" thing I'm not 100% sure on I mean I don't know a whole lot about it and don't really understand it and the only thing to improve is to make the car get better gas mileage so not as much polluting happens because they get good gas mileage for cars going around 200 mph but it could be improves.
3. The Chase should award points for getting a pole and more points for winning a race and I'm okay wiht the whole only 10 drivers get in or within 400 points because the 400 point thing has only happened like once since the Chase started and only 12 drivers got in that year.
4. Toyota will have a few good drivers like Michael Waltrip he has very strong opinions and is a good driver who has a lot of respect from other drivers and for the sport in general and for other champions.
5. Denny Hamlin is doing great for a rookie because not many rookie's do this good their first year, David Stremme, and Reed Sorenson are doing good as well for their rookie season. He doesn't mind doing things other drivers get tired of. Since this is his first year he is happy to go to places to sign autographs and have photographs taking. Other drivers who have been their always appreciate fans and everything but get tired of signing autographs all the time and having their picture taken but they dont mind it.
6. I think it would be cool to have a track built in Hawaii but their isn't a lot of room since its an island and it is alread packed. Then places like Rockingham were good tracks from what I heard but don't make alot of money to support the sport. I think it would be cool to have a track somewhere else in the east coast like in Maine or somewhere else in the Midwest maybe. Their are alot of great places that we could have tracks but its all about the money.

1. Yes it is the most boring track and what is the point of having a night race there if most of the fans are on the east coast and are in bed before the finish.

2. The wing looks retarded

3. Back the way it was before when Matt won it. They did this for Jr. to win a championship it still isn't going to happen

4. Possibly if they can get Kvapil

5. Luck

6. No new track just come to the Milwaukee Mile for Cup

2006-09-12 16:30:34 · answer #6 · answered by jgirl_meow 2 · 2 0

1. too many 1.5 mile tracks...put darlington instead.
2. i think it lookes better, and if they race like the trucks, then that means better competition.
3. no, not really. i would just change the driver getting more points.
4. i think toyota will take more than a year to get at least consistent in the top 15. the driver choice doesn't help much either, lets face, so far, none of the future toyota drivers have won.....
5. i think he is an awesome driver...probably the new face of nascar...he might win it.
6. i would like a new track build in new england..

1. Just fine. Cali's tracks are boring.
2. I don't know much about it. I don't get into the mechanics of the cars much.
3. More points for actually winning a race!
4. Maybe, maybe not. It's just good to let more cars in, period.
5. Good for him!
6. An Alaska race would be plenty challenging, but that probably wouldn't happen. :-)

1. They should get rid of the California race since it doesn't sell out

3.I don't know
4. no because it ain't American
5. Don't even get me started on what I think of Denny Hamlin I hate that man with a passion and I almost puked when he made the chase! and I feel like puking every time I see his ugly face!!

Bring the "Southern 500 back to Darlington on Labor Day"
Drop California.
If it improves racing fine if not bring back the wings like the "superbirds"
The chase should be the NASCAR Dozen,The last 12 races, top 12 drivers.
Japan brought the steel from the US to bomb Pearl Harbor,RICE BURNERS!
GO DENNY GO!
NO MORE COOKIE CUTTER TRACKS!
