If someone has an Order For Protection against them what steps do they take to get it off?

I dont know much about this subject, but basically what i want to know is how does the person with the OFP against them fight it? Is there anything in court that can be done? Thanks for any help! Websites would be helpful.

Basically, they will have to hire a lawyer who can go to court and prove that the order was not justified. Without specifics of the case, it is hard for me to give you more information than that.

order of protection is taken out on a person one to the other. if the judge is convinced that some form of harm may be enacted upon them from the other. check to see what the expiration date is.
