You don't need a license to race on private property, unless the owner of the property has his own rules. You do need a license to drive on public right-of-ways

The license can be had for around 125 dollars, but don't forget that you need to prepare the bike for competition and prepare yourself. Get good boots, gloves, spare helmets, and new leathers. Make sure your bike will pass tech by requesting a tech manual. You will have to safety wire liquid carrying hoses, oil drain plug and other selected items, and the bike must have a belly-pan to collect oil if the motor grenades on you. I would guess you might need about 10 grand to start.

I do not know for sure what you mean, but a license to ride a motorcycle is the same as for a car. Special license for race tracks vary depending on the education required, and for local regulations and training.

the last that I'd heard was 30 days and a stiff fine for public streets. drag bikes usaully after your exspense in your group, once a year at the finals you can get your liciense by buying a National Dragster subscription and if your in a real fast class you might have to have fellow drivers to sign your application. I don't know how the oval bikes do thier licienses but I'm sure they will let you know if you'd call
