My little girl is 6 1/2 months old and has eaten all the fruits and veggies with no problem. Is she ready to start meats? And if not, when will she be ready?

She is only 6 1/2 months old. WHat is the rush. If you or your doctor would have read any baby feeding advice you would have waited until baby was 6 months old to start solids... so if baby has only been eating solids 2 weeks, slow it down a little. Foods at this point aren't for nourishment... it is more for texture and flavour play for the baby. Until 12 months babys main source of food should still be breastmilk/ formula.

Ask the doctor, but I think he/she would say around 8-9 months. A lot of babies are ready before then though.

My mom started my little brother on real food when he was about 9 months, the little greedy thing ate us out of house and home ^_^.

She can start them whenever...but from experience...those meats are disgusting and terribly over priced. My kids never liked them....make your own with a food processor, some baked chicken and water :)

I would wait to feed her any solid food like meat until she has teeth and she can chew it, otherwise it would be a choking hazard for her.

I was told 9 months, but if you're like me and most mothers, you'll give it a teensie weensie try before then.

Around 8months you can start with chicken and turkey. Beef might be too heavy for the tummy.
