I have never experienced a period during either of my pregnancies. I have heard that it sometimes happens. I have a friend who claimed to have had her period for up to 5 months into her pregnancy...that I believe is not possible. If you are pregnant and bleeding you need to see the doctor whether you think it's a period or not. I was also told by a nurse that if you experience one period after finding out you were pregnant it might be normal if the blood is a darker red. A bright red I was told meant new blood and could be something serious. Best Wishes.
