LOL yeah in that movie they nickname one of the characters (I think it's the really cool black waitress) Betty Crocker...

It's b/c Betty Crocker is a brand of cooking stuff that sells cake mixes and everything (just like Aunt Jemima!)... (i can't say if it is named after a real person, though)...

So that's why they called her that... as if she had no cooking talent...

Betty Croker is a trade type made-up name, like Mr. Clean. Back during the 60' and 70's during a big rise in women's liberation, the use of the name "Betty Croker" conjured a negative image of women as stay-at-home housewives, barefoot and pregnant, so to say.

are you talking about a cinderella story with hilary duff? where do they mention betty crocker?! you can buy betty crocker food mixes usually for cakes and cookies...is that what youre talking bout?!
