I had friends like this, because I couldn't stand their constant bickering I would hang out with them individually. This way I didn't have to listen to their bickering and I could enjoy the time I was spending with them.

Leave the room when they start their crap; you don't have to choose sides or be the referee. They're acting like immature kids! When they see that their behavior is not going to affect you in any way, they will stop. Or you can tell them both, when they stop being so selfish regarding your friendship, then you will be ready to resume hanging out with them. Dust off your balls, mate and make act like a man. Maybe they will follow suite. Godloveya.

okay. ive had this problem before. My besssst friend and another friend of mine used to fight allll the time. they were just like yours. they couldnt go 3 seconds without being mean to each other. i think maybe you should bring up this problem and talk to them about it. try to come up with a way that they can both get along. like trying not to nag each other over stuff or trying to ignore little habits that drives both of them crazy. i mean theyre your friends. i would think they should be understanding. my friends were.
hope i helped in some way <3

Lock them in a room where the only way out is to work together.

First of all, and I can not stress this enough, DO NOT get involved. It is THEIR problem not yours. If you make it your problem too then the situation could become worse and you could lose both friends. Perhaps you suggest they straighten things out and then leave it alone and do not get in the middle.

I think they argue all the time because they have to "share" you as their friend. make them understand that if you are one's friend doesn't mean you are not friends with the other

Maybe they enjoy the drama, some people do! tell them they are driving you crazy. If they can't work it out maybe you can spend time with them separately!!
