As a guy I thought this was a good question.

It seems like the majority of women appreciate a certain amount of *understanding* ...not necessarily a feminine guy.

Am I right, ladies?

a physical feminine side no - a mental feminine side yes.
Its great when you meet a guy that can discuss things with you and offer advice etc.
masculine men often find "talking" a bit wussy and choose to keep everything bottled up inside - usually resulting in problems between a couple

Well actually, in todays time.. Ladies especially black woman are now trying to guard against men with feminine sides... we address them in our community DL Brothas... So, with the primetime special concerning BLACK Aids that's not recieving national attention even from democrats and we never expected Bush to care . But anyway, the rate is alarming and no we don't want any of our men to have feminine sides because we're climbing in daily aids cases because our men don't share with us that they have feminine sides... then they transmit it to us... Its found primarily with husbands or boyfriends....

My wife definitely does not want me to have a feminine side.....that's why I keep my relationship with my boyfriend a secret. I am very feminine with him, and I guess I understand a little more how a woman feels when she's used for sex....I'm his whore by choice.

Yes as it means that men can relate in a way to how a woman feels. men who cannot show there feminine side really do not appreciate woman as much as men who can show there feminine side

Mine cooks AND cleans, he is also very neat, and I think it is cute. I would rather be a a neat person than a slob that has stuff laying all over the place. There are other smaller things that make him act femanine, but I don't care, I think that is why I love him so much. I can share everything with him. When he dresses up in a suit for work, OMG is he hot!

In cleaning YES... In being sensitive, as long as he isn't totally acting like a girl. I like a manly man, but one who can bust out a broom and do the dishes and laundry is all the feminine I need from him.

to a degree - i do appreciate clean & groomed nails, clean teeth and someone who showers on a regular basis - also men with a feminine side usually communicate better, which is a plus.

It depends on what you mean by a feminine side. If it means tact and intuition, together with empathy, well of course I like it!
