Have your feet checked by a doctor and also a podiatrist. Many medical conditions can seriously affect our feet in a negative way. For example diabetes can cause peripheral nerve damage and slow healing of skin abrasions and cuts that can lead to very serious complications. (in a worse case scenario, neglected feet could become gangrenous). Peripheral nerve damage leads to lack of feeling in the feet and, eventually, problems cannot be felt. High blood pressure and hardening of the arteries can cause poor blood circulation to the feet and problems can start with that condition. Bad arches can cause all kinds of problems (even in the knees and back). Get checked for that. Some people's arches look fine until weight is put on them and then the arch flattens like a pancake.
Day to day care actions should include, daily foot inspection. Keeping the feet and toes dry. (wiping ang applying talcom powder is good.) In the winter feet can become dry. Bathe them in warm water, then put a few drops of baby oil ontop of the water and wait until the entire water surface has an even film of oil floating on top. Slowly pull your feet out of the footbath. tha action forms a very thin oil film on all the surfaces of your feeet. Then cover your feet with a pair of loose soft socks and retire to bed. The oul locks in the water moisture on your feet (in the dry winter months). Walking barefoot indoors for an hour a day will rxrcise muscles that are not used when wearing shoes. This simple move can avoid all manner of foot problems. Regular foot exercises are imprtant. (check the net for many sites for these).
Daily walking at a leisurely pace is surprisingly good exercise and it will not cause later hip problems like jogging on concrete or asphalt.
Fro more tips you'll have to try google and get ready for the avalanche of information.
Get medical attention if you have persistant foot pain. And try the above suggestions afterwards.
Good luck.
Dan.

Warm water baths with epsom salts will soften most feet right up. Then while your feet are still damp use a pumice stone to take away the rough callouses. Dry your feet well and then put some lavender lotion on them, put a pair of cotton socks on and you are done. Do this every night for a week and you will see a big change. If you are a diabetic...this is great! make sure to get ALL of your foot dry! Especially between the toes!

I do this more in the colder months because your skin tends to be dryer...ANYWAY...
Give your feet a good warm herbal soak (instead of going out and buying the herbs separate you can always cheat here and get a box of inexpensive herbal tea bags)
with a good loofah and foot scrub with a gritty medium scrub your feet, pay close attention to toes, heel, anywhere there is rough skin. pat dry...
Put on a good salve or product like Vaseline or Aquaphor...Wrap your feet in cheesecloth or in a quick fix use Ziploc baggies pull socks up over your feet and go about your business for a couple of hours ..or if they are THAT bad keep them on over night..
take of the socks etc. wipe off extra with a towel again exfoliate while doing so with a good terry-cloth towel pumice any excess skin trim toenails place on a base coat of polish pick a fave color then top coat and viola happy pretty feet worthy of some nice toe rings!!!!!
I do this two or three times a month It goes with the rest of my "SPA DAY"

You need to get Fruit of the Earth brand Aloe Vera Gel. Mine is called Cool Blue or something like that. It makes your burn feel sooo much better. I had horrible sunburn this summer. It totally helped!

keep the feet neat and clean always. Wah them whenever you return home from outside . soak them while bathing . use pumice stone gently to rub off the soaked dead skins .Apply turmeric paste to them and wash the feet .wipe them with cloth . If they are kept clean normally they won't crack .
