It some kind of popup that says "messenger service" and that my machine has 46 registry errors and it prompts me to go to these websites (eg. correctreg.com, win32fix.com, msreg.com, etc.) to fix the errors or my machine is at risk of crashing and being corrupted.

Get a pop-up blocker. Or you can set the options to not make pop-ups come up when you are on the computer.

type in REGISTERY REPAIR
Download the window registry repair kit, (its free)
and just scan your computer.

it will clear the first 30 repairs for free, then after that it will do 3 at a tim till its empty.

I do also recomend to download the adaware program,
you can find this in the downloads.com web page also.

I use both of these programs and my computer works great till this day

I had these sorts of problems for ages and eventully had to re-load everything to erradicate it (dont forget to back up your files and get some good Antivirus software).

YOU HAVE VIRUS EATING YOUR COMPUTER PROGRAMS UP SLOWLY, NEED A VIRUS PROGRAM LIKE NORTONS OR MC GAFFEE, BETTER GET IT QUICK, OR YOU WILL CRASH.
