I look at what you see on the runway as wearable art. It's not necessarily meant for real life. It's just an artful expression, particularly the unusual couture pieces.

I have yet to see one thing I've seen at fashion shows or in magazines, ON anyone I even remotely know. Why that crap is popular is beyond me yet people continue to purchase the magazines. The human race is an interesting & odd species.

I think that all the time.
It makes no sense to me to buy something that is cutting edge, it won't be in style next year. I can't think of a single place that some of those clothes would even be appropriate for.
As for some of the prices, there are things out there that cost more than what I make in a month, I didn't even spend that much on my wedding dress!

I think fashion shows are for the rich or for a person with a perfect body there aren't to many women I know could wear the clothes that they show

No not really I'm very much into fashion and I have a stylist so I see all that stuff all the time!!!!

every time!!! I won't even buy the mags anymore. lol I just flip through them while in line at the store. Why should I spend my hard-earned money on unrealistic BS like they promote ??
