Christobal Het and David Aebischer will do miracles in front of the montreal canadiens net . Koivu will be back on top of his games ,Kovalev will play like hes 23 Samsonov will LOVE montreal that he will make 60 points
And a 25 th banner will be held in the Bell centre as the montreal canadiens will be the stanley cup champs for 2006-07

Whichever team Gary Bettman wants to promote. Probably one of the struggling market teams like Nashville or Atlanta. Gee it's only happend the last 2 cups...

You have to go with Anaheim as an early favorite. They have probably the best goalie pairing in the league (Giguere and Bryzgalov are both top quality goaltenders), and their defense has got to be the toughest in the league. The only questionmark might be how their offense responds to losing Lupul, but with Chistov coming back, I really don't see that being a problem.

Detroit's only chance of winning a Cup is if Hasek pulls a groin early on in the season so we can get him out of there and get a goalie not past his prime in there . The Ducks have a good chance this year. Dang! That sounds weird saying that but they do have an impressive arsenal of players this year.

I know what team is NOT going to win the Cup. Those guys up in Vancouver. If I had to pick one team I would go with Detroit.
