this guy i am interestested in is having a birthday soon and keeps insisting that he doesnt want anything--but I want to do something really special for him because he is that special to me. Any suggestions?

i would suggest cooking him a nice romantic dinner, dress up for it, and after......maybe let him unwrap his present? And don't forget the "oral" part of the gift....guys love that....

Your involvement with this guy should give you an idea of how intimate a gift you should get. Such as if you are friends and he doesn't know your feelings, maybe a book or CD that he likes. Or if you two are dating, then something more special. Good luck with it.

Surprise him! Act like you arent doing anything and have him over for a special dinner...whatever his favorite food is....get a movie the two of you may have talked about watching...

Some people really don't want anything when they say they don't. But then again they might just be saying that because that is the common thing to say and if you don't get him anything, he might be hurt. Just get him a happy birthday card.
