The best way I can think of is to associate with people that like doing the same thing's you do. You can never truly know if you're like minded most often for year's. An example is a dear friend of mine and me, we both are passionate about rescuing abused and abandoded animal's. We both knew this about each other for around ten year's before we truly became close, like minded friend's. It most often it takes a very long time to get to know what a person's agenda really is. Just float along this life and listen to what people are really saying and you will find good, like minded friend's.

People are complex and there will never be a perfect match, but try to get close at least. the way many people are these days, with their liberal sense of entitlement, victim mentality, everybody's a winner, and abrogation of personal responsibility, it isn't easy. Believe me, I know.
