Love 'em, love 'em. He's the only writer whose books I would prebuy on Amazon. So many other writers get worse over time - the new Patricia Cornwell was terrible - but he just seems to get better and better.
I like anything involving Sam and have a particular soft spot for Jingo and The Fifth Element.

I honestly adore 'large Regiment' - I examine it even as i develop into 13 and that i save in concepts giggling on the go-gender nature of maximum jokes, being bowled over, feeling completely sympathy for characters... the record is going on. in spite of the undeniable fact that, 'Nightwatch' develop into considered one of Pratchett's novels that i fairly loved, and nonetheless do, each and every time i re-examine it. magnificent plot, yet depraved humour in it too. one which will consistently be perpetually close to to my heart will be 'the whole Maurice and his knowledgeable Rodents' - me and my father used to envision it at the same time before mattress, each and every doing voices and sharing the reading. Plus, in spite of the actual undeniable reality that it really is especially aimed in the direction of the youngster's marketplace, i trust this is nonetheless extraordinarily accessible to adults, as an relaxing quick examine. Carpe Jugulum... again, dangerously humourous and a superb plot like such quite some different Pratchett books. Oh, ok - questioning about this now, i will't %. a accepted. I do love all of them. :-) have you ever tried the 'Discworld Noir' sport for laptop before? Or the 'Discworld - lacking, Presumed ??' they are fairly large! :-)

Love 'em. Wintersmith comes out on the 28th (in the US) and I can't wait! My favorite book to date is Night Watch because I laughed all the way through it and then cried at the end. I'm a huge fan of all the books, but especially the later (and slightly more serious) ones.

Yeah, they're great. I like two of the recent ones, Going Postal and Monstrous Regiment. And any with Vimes and the watch. And the ones featuring Cohen the Barbarian (in fact there was a page in Interesting Times that made me fall off my chair laughing.
And....oh what's the point, I could go on all day

I love Pratchett's Discworld novels. But my favorite book is Good Omens, which he wrote with Neil Gaiman. One of my favorite books ever.
