The new Peckham garage was converted from a local authority maintainance depot and opened in 1994 with a capacity for 75 buses. In 2000 the garage put Lonodns first Volvo B7TL/Alexander ALX400 bodied low floor vehicles into service on route 63 alongside NV's and DRL/DPL's. Peckham Garage won bus garage of the year in 2004, although this turned out to be a poisoned challis for the garage, losing almost half of it's work in the next years tender awards.
