You can sometimes tell if a person is lying by how they are acting, if they are fidgeting, sweating, looking away or seem uncomfortable. Depending on the person, if they do or do not look you in the eye. Some people say if someone scratches their nose, they are lying (this is a favorite among political watchers).

The best theory I've heard is that it depends on which way a person looks. If you ask someone a question and they look to the right, it means they are accessing the left part of their brain, the side which recalls facts, reason and the truth. If someone looks to the left, it means they are accessing the right side of the brain, the side recognized for creativity. If someone looks to the left, according to this theory, they would be accessing the part of the brain that would make up a story or a lie.

I hope this help and no one tries to lie to you!

That depends on who the person is to you, how good they are at lying, how important the lie is to them and what they are lying about. I think to give you a good answer, we need more information.

Some people have a tell in their body language, something they do any time they lie (they can't look you in the eye, their pupils may get really big, they may scratch their head or partially cover their mouths, they may touch their face alot or just act like they don't know what to do with their hands. It depends on the person.). If someone's feeling guilty, what they're saying and the way they say it may just seem off to you, like the pieces don't fit together or the information just doesn't make sense whether you know why or not because either they didn't think their lie through or they are intentionally leaving holes in their story hoping on some level that you'll catch them. In that case, you can usually catch them by paying attention and asking them more indepth questions about their story. Still other people can look you right in the face with great confidence and make you believe the most outlandish things. In that case, you'll have to take the information you've been given and try to verify it somewhere else.

Changing the main details of their story. Elborate tales that always seem to happen. Don't ever ask if they are lying they will get pissed. Usually a liar will hang themselves due to forgetting what they have said in the lie. If they look down or change the subject during the story are also ways to tell. You can only trust a person as long as you know 100 percent they have never betrayed you. Good luck

For me, most of the time I can tell. I get this gut feeling, like I know what's really going on. It's a very strong feeling that doesn't go away! Anytime that I have had that feeling I was right. The truth comes out eventually and you will see.

you can tell if someone is lieing, if during the conversation, their eyes turn away from you, or their head shakes NO when their mouth says yes. also watch what their hands are doing, If they say HONESTLY at the beginning of a sentance, then most likely they are lieing.

Sooner or later the truth always comes out. So be watchful, observant, and try to talk to them sincerely.

make them look you in the eyes, or ask other people that might now (would be cheapest) the best way get a lie detector but yea that would cost, and I doubt they would let u test them.
