Time to find another job or just wear it. You could also try talking with your co-workers and see if they fel the same way. I fthey do you could elect to speak with the Boss and perhaps come up with a solution.

Was it a part of your agreement to wear casual clothes when you were hired. If so, he can't breach his promise to you, unless he has your permission.
Bsides, tuxedos are for men. I would tell him that I am not in the habit of dressing like a man and refuse. Otherwise, he may provide you with something very formal, yet feminine, but I would not want to dress manly.

Listen, let's make this simple o.k.? You can complain and feel uncomfortable or realize the fact that
(1) the public tends to (like most people) put what I think is an overemphasis on "professional dress" and tends to see uniforms as a means of judging service acceptability
and (2) You get paid (probably not what you might be worth, but that's another subject) so you endure.
If not, freedom of choice!
But please don't be like 99% of your fellow man and go online just to *****, whine and complain.
That gets so so old!
Peace!

I just started my first job at 15 years old, I went in to work for my first day as a dishwasher , I met with my boss who gave me my uniform to put on. black pants and dark green polo shirt. he walked me around the restaurant introducing me to everyone and gave me the tour. he then took me back to the dishwashing station where he took a long black rubber apron, put it around my neck and tied it to my waist. he then helped me slide my arms into black rubber gloves that went all the way up to my shoulders. he the put on his apron and gloves and showed me the dishwashing operation for about an hour before leaving me on my own. i cleaned dishes until close and everyone had gone home while I was cleaning the floors. the boss locked all the doors and had me come into his office where he told me I was going to have to spray down the garbage room. this was insane. this was the grossest room I ve ever seen. the boss had me take off my shoes and gave me long rubber boots that went up to my waist and strapped to my belt. he then had me put on a long black raincoat which was heavy and hot. he gave me a chemical pressure washer which he said I would need extera face protection for. he held up a black rubber mask which he put over my nose, mouth and chin, pulling the rubber hood around my face and zipping it from the top of my head to the bottom of my neck, he the ceiled the hood buckling three buckles down the back of my head followed by a thick collar he buckled around my neck. I was complete enclosed in rubber. I pressure washed and scrubbed that room on hands and knees for 2 hours. afterwards I was covered in food, trash and chemical water. my bossed sprayed me down with a hose and helped take the mask hood off my head as I could do it on my own. this was a long day of work. anyone dishwashers ever had to do that crap. every night after close when I see my boss with the rubber gear I know it s time to do the nasty. imagine wearing that.

Find another job. The boss makes the rules. You can approach the boss with the concern, but I doubt that it will help.

And why do you need an answer for this ? Why do you have to use what yahoo calls "the largest hink tank" in the world for such an insignificant question. Are you dependent ? Can't you make such an easy decison on your own?
Go and accept the uniform / Dont go and risk losing your job
Choose!

It may be uncomfortable, but if that's a job requirement and it's not demeaning to you (actually tuxedos are better than casualwear), I'd suck it up!

Not everyone can say they wear a tux to work. You don't like the tux, get another job.
