he buys your ring and wedding band. you buy his ring... its an exchange, a promise to love and protect forever, just as the ring has no end, so shall your union be the same.

I'm of Spanish decent and usually the man buys the engagement and the wedding ring at the same time as a set. While it is the responsibility of the young lady to purchase his wedding band. Today's couples though usually go out together and buy whatever makes their significant other happy and flip the bill together. It's ur choice from there. Good luck and Congrats! What the hell, engagement ring on the right hand - that's men for ya they have no clue. The engagement ring goes on the left ring finger, the one next to the pinky. And then when you get married you add the wedding band to it that's why you see women with 2 rings on one finger.
He should get it from there, it'll be cheaper.

His ring should also fit on the ring finger of his left hand but he may choose to not wear one or wear on his dog tag chain while deployed as a ring on a soldier can be dangerous with all the machinery ect. they have thier hands on and can catch a ring on... My husband wears his ring on a chain around his neck when at work because of the danger of catching his ring on something during a scuffle (he is a correctional officer)...
