It's possible, but out of the three, Detroit has the easiest schedule for the remainder of the season. I'm a Twins fan and would like to see your prediction come true, but I can't commit to it yet. It will be a tight race these next couple weeks, though.

I can see the potential, but I don't really see it coming true in reality. The Tigers (other than three games with the White Sox) don't play too much of anyone the rest of the season and should be able to hold on. The White Sox have a tough road with this series with the Angels, then Oakland, then the Tigers, then Seattle, Cleveland and finish with three games in Minnesota.
Expect the wild card to come down to that last weekend in Minnesota and, unfortunately, the Sox have never played well in the Homerdome.

Detriot would really have to fall apart to have this come true.
Detroit has a pretty easy schedule the rest of the season except for three games with the Sox. Other wise Tigers play 5 or 6 games with KC and a series with the O's. Sox could be in trouble unless MN stumbles and with Liriano coming back I don't see it.
Also, Jenks hasn't looked too good last couple outings either.
If the Sox make the playoff they won't make the ALCS again.
But I may be biased since I am Cubs fan. Keep dreaming.

The tigers can play a game under .500 for the rest of the season and still have 96 wins which should get them into the playoffs. They still have a high win percentage when Rogers and Verlander pitch. The tigers will win the division, the twins the wild card. Don't forget about last year when the Sox almost blew a 15 game lead to the Indians.

no, the white sox have the roughest road ahead. Unless they can find the magic they once had last year, Red Sox will come back to life before the White Sox do!!

twins fan here BUT. i'd actually like to see detroit in it in some fashion, it's their turn, what i like about sports is variety, that's why i dislike the yankees, same old same old...
i also like the sox, a good healthy rivalry is good, i'd like them even more if it wasn't for their horse**** bias tv announcers, i like their players and manager ,just can't stomach the 2 guys on tv, just like with the packers, i have always liked them but not the cheesehead fans, especially in baseball..
my picks: tigers and twins in some how, sox out

No, I do not see this happening. If the Red Sox fans can move on, then White Sox fans need to move on too.

I don't know what type of magic ball you looked into, but any palm reading or tarot card reading would tell you...White Sox not making it...
