There is only one way to find this out. I would suggest that you take her crutches and do the chores that you are requesting her to do. I would also suggest that you rig your leg so that it isn't working correctly or have the kids kick you repeatedly on one of your legs for twenty minutes too. Do this for a whole day and see for yourself why she refuses to clean, cook or take care of the kids. If you can do it with ease, tell her get up and do it. But if you can't do it with ease, apologize to her and help out while she is recovering. Sheesh! What a jerk!

Firstly, if you being physical was the cause of her being on crutches in the first place you better seek out help.

Secondly, you ram a couple of crutches up under your arms and try to take care of running children, lug a vaccum, stretch & reach to dust, haul the laundry down to the basement etc., and see how you make out.

Get a grip !

Let me guess, all you so is go to work and take out the garbage. My oh my, what a catch you are. Are you too stupid to order pizza, or clean up after yourself? Why can't you throw in a load of laundry? How many times has your wife taken care of you when you weren't 100%? Do you think you deserved it, or because she's your wife, do you think she had to do it? If so, don't you think you have to too? Give and take buddy. When was the last time you gave without arguing?

I hope someday your wife realizes that you are a sick man and leaves you! Stop treating her like she's your housekeeper - she's your wife and if you can't treat her like one and like a human you need to leave her!

Why wouldn't you want to wait on her, cook and clean while she is in the condition she is in???? You could also hire a family memeber that needs some cash or a housekeeper to take over till' she is healed. Your a disgrace to husbands! (without getting physical again!) you need to be in prison!!!

Have some compassion and let her heal freak!
Do you know what love is? You do not deserve a wife!
You are the one that probably got her in the condition she is in hu???

Change your attitude about women you'd get farther with them!

If she is on crutches she should still help out, but you know what? You and the kids should be doing the majority. This is her time to get better and be taken care of. Wives/mothers really are underappreciated by a far.

You jerk - domestic/physical violence is NOT a joke - not the inference, not the threat, not the action!

Your wife (if she exists) needs to get on those crutches, hobble to the phone and make 2 phone calls - one to the police and the other to a divorce attorney!

Your piggish tirades against women are wearing thin!

Is...is this some sort of post-modern joke?

Lothario is a character in Nicholas Rowe's 1703 play, The Fair Penitent, who seduces and betrays the female lead. The name has come to mean any lecherous individual, generally male.

You as a Man need to help her out around the house. Remember for better or for worse until death do us part. Please take the marriage vows seriously. How do you expect her to stand on one leg and make dinner or hop around on one leg and clean and run the vacuum. How would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot.
