Do u think we could be doing something wrong where we are so hated universally with so much passion. How should this be resolved?

Well, we are hated by the Muslims because we are not a theocracy and encourage individualism, free thought, and the right to worship as we please, which in their eyes makes us infidels worthy only of being kill unless we repent.
We are hated by those in the Southern part of the Western hemisphere because we oppose the drug lords who have taken over control of the governments down there.
We hated by much of Eastern Europe because they were raised during the cold war to believe we are evil capitalist pigs.
We are hated by Japan because we won WWII.
We are hated by China because we support an independent Taiwan.
We are hated by Canada and much of Central Europe because they have a generally socialist outlook and can't abide nations or individuals becoming rich and powerful.
We are hated by North Korea because Kim Jong Ill is a nutcase.
We are hated by Africa because they like to blame those evil white guys for all their problems.
Have I left anyone out?

Jealousy. We are the most free nation and leaders of the free world. People everywhere wish that they could walk down the street and bash the government. They wish that they didn't have to fear living in under a tyrant dictator or in a policed state. They are jealous of the fact that we have freedom of religion and that we can believe whatever we want. They are jealous.
To Pam: Did any of those countries happen to be the ones that were celebrating in the streets burning American flags after 9-11. Did you visit the countries that bombed U.S. Embassies. I traveled this summer as well but I didn't get a "World View" by going to mexico and canada.

Attn: Travis T, Most nations fear your power only because you are seen as the new Facist power, that feels it can attack any nation it wants. If you think people are jealous that is delusional. America is rapidly selling out to China and unfortunately is entering it's demise as all Empires must.I just hope the EU will be consolidated sufficiently to offset China.

The United States is not hated universally around the world and most of that hatred that is out there is because of jealous, denial, and falsehoods.

Americans are not passionately hated around the world. Stop watching FOX and go travel some places.
I've been to 3 countries this year and nobody tried to string me up. I lived and have great photos to show.

We have power and other nations resent that. They need to get over it. Until they do, it won't be resolved.
And last time I checked, we were part of the UN, and were not "universally hated" so good try with the mindless generalizations, but your argument is without substance.
