five minutes before a really big exam, i really could not believe what i saw; the professor was sitting outside of the cafeteria stuffing his face with some toasts, orange juice, croissant, meat pie and a bowl of jelly. he was twenty minutes late for the exam!
that was not the only incident. the other time he set up a chat room during class time and let the students to their own devices. Vulgar messages were posted all over but he just sat there and laugh at them.

YES, and I almost always did poorly in those classes. I personally think they waste time because they are incompetant but I did have a Physics prof. who was a well known nuclear physicist and he was just a brilliant egghead... he could come into lecture and say "Good Morning Everyone" and it would be incomprehensible.

1972 - University Sophomore - World history - I fell asleep in class. I woke up because it was too quite. Then I realized that everyone else had fallen to sleep, including the professor. He talked in a monotone voice and put everyone to sleep, including himself.

Ms. Blodgette, my biology teacher in college. She was an airhead. Very smart woman, but not much coming out of her mouth had to do with real science. There were a lot of "uhhh" and "hmmm" 's that she said. It made me concentrate on how goofy she was and not how I should be learning about atoms and neutrons. BIG WASTE of time.
