Ummmm...why don't you just cook up some beef stew yourself the way you want it?

Cook the beef stew in a crock pot yourself. My husband and I take turns cooking and doing the dishes.

Do it yourself and show her the difference. If it is better she will change her ways.
Get your beef stew meat and roll it in a flour salt and pepper mix then toss it in a pan of oil just long enough to brown. Put it in the crock pot with potatoes, carrots and onions. Cover in water and add a spoon of butter, salt and pepper to taste. Let it cook all day stirring occasionaly. YUM

beef stew is better in a pressure cooker not in the crock pot an uf you don't like how she cooks it then cook it your self

the crock pot is so slow, no wonder.
Let your wife do it her way and u do another day of crock pot like pinto beans early in the morn.
