Well...it did puncture his heart. Yes, because he pulled it out he died much more quickly. However if he'd left it in, he would have died a slow terrible death. So....it's probably better for Steve that he pulled it out and expedited the process.

As for the stingray...I don't know. I hope it is still living because Steve would have wanted it that way!

The garb of the stingray has razor sharp teeth on the left and right side of it. I doubt it would have saved him as it entered the heart. The garb works like a scorpion , curling over then shooting-also the garb if pulled out- tears the skin with it, it is like a fishing hook, when you get it caught, it's hard to pull out without tearing. It's a defensive mechanism of the stingray and only does this when it feels threatened.

1. Yes, according to some doctors it will do more harm if you try pull out something sharp from your body (spread of infection).
2. Who knows? Should we charge sting rays with murder from now on?

it is possible that he could have lived longer if he had just left it in because when their tails go in its not that bad damage its when they come out is when they do the damage becaus it rips every thing around it abd the doctors may have been able to save him

Umm, he got stabbed in the heart...thats a pretty major organ. If someone took a knife to your heart, do you think you would survive if you kept it in until a doctor arrived? I think not.
