Yes, I live in Texas. But I in NO WAY support the death penalty.
I don't think it's our "right " to decide whether a person should live or die !!! Regardless of what the crime is. Jail or prison ?
Absolutely ! There are some people that just belong behind bars because they may be a hazard to themselves or other people.
But for a panel of 12 people to say " Yeah, he / she has to die for this " is just inhumane !!!!

Yes it does. I don't like the idea of my tax money going to feed, cloth and shelter criminals, so I suppose I'd lean towards "supporting" the death penalty as well. I do not like the core of our society though, which more or less fosters criminal behavior and breeds repeat offenders rather than investing more money into making sure from childhood onward people are "on the right path."

yes my state does, so do i. my only problem with it is that there are to many people waiting. speed up the process. 5 years from sentencing death that should give them time for appeals and whatever. we spend to much money keeping them alive after we've told them there going to die.

We fry'em here in Texas, although I do not support this. If I were on a jury, I could not send someone to death. That is not my job.

texas does, and i wish the would still hang people, you would think twice if that happened. also they should cut off your hand for stealling like the do in the middle east. that would definetly reduce the crime rate.
