I have aol , not by choice ,I keep tring to send a message so the my mail can be forwarded ,and to close out from being forced to us aol , the latest is them asking for my ss# ,so if anyone can help me.

my guy and i were watching a t.v. show that actually taped an AOL user trying to cancel the service.... 56 minutes later the guy was STILL trying... screaming into the fone.."just cancel my f****** account!!! i don't want anything you have to offer!"
by the end of the show... he still was not cancelled....
i just let them go... they keep sending my bills for the service that i have not used in 3 YEARS ...
23.90 is what they want.... they will rot in hell before they get a single red cent from this billpayer!

Oh Dear!
Unfortunately, there is a reason why it's called AO-Hell. My mother was with them for a while, and they kept trying to charge her for services she did not either want or need, and could not afford. Finally she contacted the bank and told them to deny AOL permission to make withdrawals from her account.
It seems to me that there is something illegal about AOL's tactics.
