Vendas Novas is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 222.4 kmÂ² and a total population of 11,957 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of 2 parishes, and is located in the District of Ãvora.

The present Mayor is JosÃ© Rodrigues Figueira, elected by the Unitarian Democratic Coalition.
