Yes, some females are born without a hymen. Some break their hymens during childhood due to some sort of trauma ( bicycle accident, climbing a fence)You don't need a hymen to produce babies. Furthermore, experts can not pin point its function. If you don't have one, it won't effect your fertility.

I don´t think the absence of hymen could affect your possibility of conceive. What I do know is that it can be be broken much later than the sexual experience because I just have my baby and my hymen broke when he pass.

Yes, some girls are born with a partial hymen or no hymen at all. To the best of my knowledge the hymen serves no actual function and is in no way related to future fertility.

It's entirely possible that it broke without you knowing it. I don't ever recall any bleeding that I could definitively associate with that.

The hymen can be absent or extremely small without having been broken. The absence should have no effect on your ability to conceive.

Yes, it is possible not to have one at birth. It is also possible for it to break without you knowing it. It is in no way related to your ability to conceive. As for why it's there...? I guess we'll just have to add it to the long list of life's little mysteries. I have no clue. : )
