LSU is one of those programs that put quality athletes at every position. They are excellent this year and will contend for the SEC championship. This weekend will tell a lot as LSU travels to Auburn. I'm an Auburn fan and I think this one is too close to call. I'm glad the game is at Auburn. If Auburn does not win the SEC, LSU would be my choice to win it. Other than this weekend, I'm an LSU fan too.

The LSU Tigers have a good team and will wind up in the Top 20. They have many gifted athletes. How far up the ladder depends on the success of QB Jamarcus Russell and developing a pass rush.
This week's matchup against Auburn will be an indicator of how good this team really is. A big difference from last year is that the more difficult games are played on the road instead of at home.

I think the team has loads of talent, but I'm still not sold on the coaching staff. Les who? We'll see if JaMarcus can get us to the championship!
