To be honest,the WAR in Iraq is a waste of precious time. When the U.S. decided to take a gamble at disarming a terroristic gov't, we never thought of how dedicated these young (preteen) people were. I would'nt say that it is to be another Viet Nam situation, but our forces are the best on the planet and should have showed the Middle East Countries that we mean business. How do we rid the areas of terror when the MEDIA & OTHER sources state where our forces are and will be tomorrow. All in all, YES . I didn't ask for terrorists to come here to do what they did,but LET's KEEP ROLLIN' SO THEY CAN'T DO THIS TO US AGAIN OR SOME OTHER PEOPLE WHO TRY TO REASON. If I was a healthy 20+ year old again,it would be an HONOR to protect what I and my family believe in. HOORAH ! ! !

Yes I would. But, being almost 60, the U.S. Military won't accept me again. I was in the USAF during Vietnam, I was in southeast asia. So, yes, I would go to Iraq.

I would, but the current rules of engagement would have to be modified. I would not go there just to make nice nice with the locals. There would be LOTS more dead insurgents. And the one who were left alive would be very much afraid of what would happen to them and anyone related to them.

Nope, already have a brother over there and it's warped him beyond belief. I think my mother would rather strangle me herself than have me go to Iraq.

my husband did, and will again if he has too.
not that i like it, but he signed his name on that dotted line 12 yrs ago to go where his country called him to go.
