I've read three of her books now and I'm excited to get another.

I love her Kay Scarpetta series. I read "Trace" first, because a friend loaned it to me, then I went back and read them all from the beginning.

Her early ones in that series are written in first person, which I prefer to her later ones that are in third person. They're still good though.

Post Mordem. Kay Scarpetta Book One.

I really liked the Kay Scarpetta series for a really long time. I quite at "Point of Origin". They became steadily more gruesome and more "soapish". I wasn't a big fan of her Jack the Ripper book and was actually a little surprised by how many people like it. I thought she made huge leaps from miniscule evidence.

Portrait of a Killer-about Jack The Ripper and of course, all of the books about Kay Scarpetta. They are great.

That's a hard question, because they are all so good. One of the wonderful things about her books is that you can pick one up, a year after you've read it, re-read it and discover things in there that you missed the first time through. She's just a superb writer.
