I mean if the partner never knows anything about it.

Please note this is a philosophical question. For all any of the answerers know I may never have had sex in my life, with or without a partner.. Also I said partner, not spouse. Other people in our western ideas don't belong to other people. How can it be wrong if the partner doesn't find out? You can't say they may find out, as by the terms of the question they don't. Why should partners in adultery, who might for example be old friends, be specially likely to have STD's?

Oh Man... You actually have to ask if this is wrong? Why would you ask if you didn't believe it was wrong?

Yes. It is called infidelity. However, if you are unhappy with your partner, leave them. It is more respectful and caring to leave a person rather than cheat on them and lie to them in order to keep order in your own life. In other words... you can't have your cake and eat it, too, as the old but true cliche goes... If you don't love and respect the partner you are with enough to give them loyalty, then leave them so they can find a partner who does love and respect them. Oh, and don't forget this old but true cliche, too: what comes around goes around. Be mindful that your words and actions have consequences... for others and for YOU.

YES IT IS!! It's sort of better if they do know about it, because then it's an open relationship. It's really mean to be shagging around while your partner is staying faithful to you, that's totally unfair. If they're happy to have an open relationship that's cool, but always use protection!! And ask yourself, if this person isn't satisfying me are they really the right person for me?

Cheating is cheating if the partner knows or not. Of course it's wrong and eventually your partner will become suspicious of your behaviour as it won't be the same. He will find out one way or the other. Best to stop it now.

So you believe there is an eleventh commandment, "Thou shalt not get caught."

Eventually, she will find out. So be up front about it. Ask her what she thinks. I'm sure she would love to be dating a person that could bring home all sorts of STD's because he can't keep his pants zipped. I'm also sure that she will not think that ever minute of everyday that she would spend with that person was such a waste of time.

Guys like you give the rest of us guys a bad name.

I would say yes. There is never any guarantee that your partner will never find out. At the end of day though, you still need to face yourself in the mirror.

Of course its still wrong, very wrong. You made a commitment to your partner, cheating is not just wrong its shameful. It also shows you have no respect for your partner. I bet u told tis other woman that you were single to. so you have no respect for them either.

Answer me this. How would you like ur partner to do that to you

Uh.....YA!! Think of what STD's you're possibly giving your partner!! Think of what they'd feel should they find out, and stop thinking of your own sexual gratification for God's sake! By the way - you do know the "Big Guy" don't ya! You should read his book!! It talks about how what you're doing is morally wrong and a SIN!!

You are exposing your partner to risks without their knowledge. If you for some reason feel you need this outlet give your partner the same option. Not comfortable with that then don't do it!

My concern is what motivated you in the first place. If your gf or wife never finds out, it's still a problem. There is obviously something wrong with you or with your relationship if you are cheating. Do you really love your gf or wife?

Are you freakin kidding me? Cheating is cheating whether your partner knows about it or not. Good Lord, what would even prompt a question like this? Go... have sex, but don't pretend to love someone enough to not cheat on them. Sheesh...
