If we were all nude it wouldn't be a nudist colony, it would just be our normal existance, or the world in which we live. Clothes are a good thing as well. Despite superficial, engrained, or religous reasons, even nudist recognize the importance of clothing. Unless one lives in the tropics, there are times and seasons in which clothing is highly preferable to nudity.
Personally I love being nude in the Summer, and bundled up in the Winter, but then I live in the Northwest, where I would freeze certain parts of me off in the winter that I don't want frozen off :)

Because the prudes in the Victorian era made nudity to be something that is sinful and wicked and people's attitudes about it haven't changed much. Besides, I can't stand looking at some people WITH clothes, why the hell would I wanna see them naked? Ew!

we wear clothes because we should. Granted that we feel like clothes are a hassle but there are a lot of people that i would prefer to see with clothes on and life's better that way because i don't want to be tramatized by some people.

well being an exhibitionist might be good ,have you seen the ppl with weight problems ,i;m not sure i would be able to stomach the celulite ridden ppl,but if we could go unclad legally we wouldnt need the nudist colonies

Because clothes are fun! What would we shop for if there were no clothes. Besides, there are sooo many people around that I do not want to see undressed --- ew.
