I want to book a holiday for myself and partner to Rhodes - where do you recommend?
I like sight seeing, want nice beeches, good restaurants and a decent night life (but not full of drunken yobs!)

Rhodes old town is the best for pubs etc Faliraki is for all the clubbers and single folk. Ixia and Trianda has got nice tavernas and bars as well and its a short taxi ride to old town at the cost of about 6-8 euros. Lindos is lovely but quiet resort worth seeing but by boat which you can get from rhodes town harbour. I would say ixia or trianda (as they have beaches)would be the best suited for u both hope u have a great time i go every year my fav holiday spot!

I propose Lindos and Pefkos area around 30 km from city of Rhodes. Lindos of traditional architecture is excellent for decent night life, restaurants and bars with sight view at the sea and nice music. You need to visit it during night. You can combinate it by staying at Pefkos that is not too far from Lindos at "Mattina appartments" which is located next to the sea.
You must taste the "Symiako garidaki" at the fish taverns of the Old town.
There are so many places to visit. It is sure you and your partner will enjoy yourselves.

I absolutely loved Lindos, what a great place it is, and if you want the odd night of partying, u can get a taxi into Rhodes itself, u wont be disappointed with Lindos, honest.
