You got me.... I thought that was another dumb move by tight-wad Al Davis. The Raiders where totally shut out last night.

He's making up for what he felt was a mistake years ago. No one worthwhile will coach that team after what he's done to run of premium young coaches.

Maybe he should pay Mike Shanhan his $250K too.

Worse than the Art Shell hiring is getting an offensive coordinator who was running a bed and breakfast for the last decade.

The Raiders will be lucky to be 3 and 13. Awesome.

AL DAVIS IS A RICH IDIOT... ART SHELL IS A GREAT FOOTBALL MIND, THE COACH DOES NOT PLAY THE GAME THE PLAYERS DO... NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE COACH, IF THE PLAYERS SUCK, YOU WILL LOSE!!! SIMPLE ISN'T IT???

What amazes me is that Art Shell was an offensive lineman and they had no O-line against the Chargers. It was hard to watch the whole game.

That's Al Davis. I used to swear by anything Al did, now I swear at anything he does.

Not his first choice.

Al is EXTREMELY difficult to work for. Few coaches will accept his offers unless there is nowhere else to make a few quick million.

It's difficult to make solid, smart football decisions when your Depends are always full. You get distracted.
