When he was only in office for 8 months? Obviously an attack of that magnitude took longer than 8 months to plan and prepare for. I don't understand this

It's these people that are truly politicizing the war for their own political gain. The truth is, Clinton is more at fault than anyone is for the attacks on 911. When the terrorists bombed our embassies, Clinton did nothing, bombed the WTC in 93, he still did nothing. When they bombed the SS Cole in Yemen, NOTHING. I hope the oral sex was worth it.

Everyone says that Bush needed this war to go get more oil, more easily. They say that 9/11 is propaghanda for his cause and they would be right. What they don't take into consideration is that this country needs that oil because those same people who are against the war are the hipocrits who drive their cars to work everyday and enjoy the average american lifestyle. In addition to this they eat up everything that the american media throws their way which in its self is propaghanda. Did you know that 90% of Iraqi civilians support what we are doing in their country? Do really even know what is going on over there? The answer for most American's is no because the only mainstream media coverage we get is that another American soldier died today. Talk to American soldier who has been over there and experienced what is going on and what we are doing. Then comment on this topic because then you will know both sides to the story.

I don't understand it either. A lot of people are blasting Bush and they have no idea what is going on. They believe everything they hear in the media, and never stop to think that the people who are spreading this stuff may be playing political games.

Anything that does not go right according to ones personal opinion, tends to be blamed on the current President. One has to evaluate this criticisms as valid, or is it just for the sake of pointing blame on someone, and the current President is often the easiest to blame

Clinton was in office for only two weeks when the first World Trade Center bombing occurred. Although he didn't prevent it, he used the resources of law enforcement to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Bush administration had intelligence and information that might have prevented the attacks of 9/11. They failed to connect the dots. Instead of taking responsibility, they use these attacks as a rallying cry, and for spreading propaganda.

It seems that he was in charge of the government and all the secret agencies that were told that something was going to happen and they all ignored it. If they would of taken it more seriously there would of not have been a 9/11

He was in charge when it happened, he gets intelligence briefings every day and did know that there was something in the plans. They didn't know what but knew it would involve aircraft and it should have at least raised questions and he and his people did absolutely nothing to try to stop it. In effect it helped him to be reelected. So he benefited from it. whether it was on purpose or not is something that may come out in the investigation.

8 months is a long time...and he received a number of security reports on the matter, he just didn't consider them a priority, since we haven't been attacked in recent memory prior to 9/11. There are thousands of security threats, these were but a few. He had other items on his agenda, like his vacationing at Crawford ranch...

His dad started the planning and Junior followed it through. They needed something like 911 to get the support of the American people to start the war on terrorism so the Bush administration could take away civil rights and conquer lots of oil.
